New Session Spotlight ... Fine Art ... OK a little NSFW

This is a session I couldn't wait to share. This amazing women was a referral from a past client whom we had also done some fine art work for, and when she saw the images from said client, she said to us "i want that".

When we get to shoot Fine Art, the experience from every shoot is completely new and exciting, we really get to let loose with our creativity and it's always a blast.

But today you get to hear about it from her, so please welcome "Mrs. N" to the blog, as she talks about her experience

How would you describe your overall boudoir session experience?

The initial thought of doing boudoir never crossed my mind until meeting Ryan. The session was fun, and completely out of my comfort zone. Ryan was very professional, lighthearted and very creative. With having no experience in front of the camera Ryan gave clear and concise direction on how to pose in order to get the most flattering shots. It was an experience I think every woman should do, at some point in their lifetime.

What kind of vibe were you going for? Do you think we pulled it off?

The vibe I was going for was soft, light and artsy . Ryan is very talented and went above and beyond to meet my expectations. He definitely pulled it off . Hands down.

Were you nervous about anything before the shoot? If so, what? Did you become more comfortable after the session started? If so, what helped to relax your nerves?

Definitely nervous before the shoot (I am a conservative person) so being naked in front of somebody is definitely out of my comfort zone.

Yes I did – I cant believe how quickly my clothes came off. Ryan made me feel very comfortable with his professionalism and down to earth personality.

What advice do you have for others getting their boudoir pictures taken?

Don’t think about it just do it . Working with Ryan will bring you out of your comfort zone, he will make you feel confident in the moment and you will leave the session loving the skin your in.

What was your reason for doing the boudoir session? (a gift for him, yourself, wedding present, anniversary, etc.)

Just for me! I wanted something artsy yet beautiful. A client of Ryan’s had showed me her images and after seeing them I was like "I WANT that!" I wanted to experience it.

What was your favorite part of the session?

My favorite part of the session was when Ryan showed me that first image he captured and it allowed me to see his talent and myself in a way I never have before

Why did you choose the location where the session was held?

I wanted the session to be a private space. So the session took place at Ottawa Valley Studios, it was very inviting and an awesome spot.
